Adoption: Measurable, sustained growth in the number of teams, domains, and unique active users onboarded onto EDP products (primary success metric).
Pipeline Velocity: Reduced time from first engagement to onboarded/active usage for new teams and domains.
Awareness & Engagement: Increased reach and engagement across internal marketing channels (town halls, newsletters, demo attendance, community participation).
Expansion: Growth in usage depth/breadth within already-onboarded teams (more use cases, more users per team).
Feedback Loop Impact: Voice-of-customer insights measurably influencing the EDP roadmap and governance/metadata improvements.
Why Join Us
- Be the face and voice of one of Ford's most strategic technology platforms.
- Own the full journey from awareness to adoption for a suite of products used enterprise-wide.
- Blend the craft of marketing, the rigor of product management, and the persuasion of pre-sales in a highly visible, high-impact role.
- Join a collaborative team with executive visibility and the resources to scale platform adoption across a global enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the internal go-to-market strategy for the full EDP product suite, including positioning, messaging, and value narratives tailored to distinct personas (data engineers, analysts, plant/business teams, product managers, executives).
- Act as a pre-sales/solutions consultant for high-value teams and domains running discovery conversations, mapping EDP capabilities to business problems, and building tailored pitches, demos, and proposals that convert interest into onboarded users.
- Partner closely with EDP product managers and engineering leads to stay ahead of the roadmap, translating new features and capabilities into compelling, business-relevant stories and enablement content.
- Build and execute a multi-channel internal marketing plan (town halls, newsletters, Slack/Teams communities, demo days, office hours, internal case studies) to drive awareness and consideration across business units.
- Develop and maintain a library of sales enablement assets: one-pagers, decks, ROI/value calculators, demo scripts, FAQs, and reference/success stories from existing adopting teams.
- Define, track, and report adoption funnel metrics (awareness, trial, onboarding, active usage, expansion) and use insights to continuously refine messaging and outreach tactics.
- Identify and prioritize target domains/teams for onboarding using an impact-driven framework, balancing quick wins with strategic, high-value use cases.
- Gather and synthesize voice-of-customer feedback from prospective and existing users, feeding insights back into the product roadmap and governance/metadata quality priorities.
- Communicate adoption progress, pipeline, and impact metrics to senior leadership, building the case for continued investment and organizational alignment.
- Collaborate with governance, data quality, and platform teams to ensure marketing promises align with platform trust, security, and reliability standards.
- 8+ years of experience spanning product marketing, product management, and/or pre-sales/solutions consulting, ideally within data, analytics, cloud, or enterprise platform domains.
- Demonstrated success driving internal or external adoption of technical/data products through targeted marketing, enablement, and consultative selling.
- Strong product management fundamentals: ability to understand platform architecture and capabilities deeply enough to translate them into business value and prioritize outreach using impact frameworks.
- Experience running discovery/needs-assessment conversations with technical and business stakeholders and converting them into tailored pitches or proof-of-concepts.
- Excellent storytelling and content development skills—decks, demos, one-pagers, videos, case studies—for both executive and technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills across a large, matrixed enterprise.
- Experience defining and tracking adoption/usage funnels and KPIs, with a data-driven approach to iterating on messaging and channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior leadership and facilitating large internal events/webinars.
Preferred
- Master's degree in a relevant technical or business field (preferred, not required).
- Prior experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or sales enablement role within a data/cloud/SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, BigQuery) and modern data architectures.
- Understanding of data-centric architectures, including ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption patterns, with an appreciation for data quality and governance.
- Experience building internal communities of practice or champion/ambassador programs to drive grassroots product adoption.
- Familiarity with marketing/adoption analytics tools (e.g., product analytics platforms, CRM, campaign tracking) to measure funnel performance.
