Whether you are transitioning from active military service or bringing established civilian experience, your discipline, leadership, and technical skills translate directly into rewarding careers across our engineering, manufacturing, technology, and operations teams.

your next mission starts here

Floice

Production Supervisor
U.S. Army Reserve "Officer"

“Working for Ford and serving in the military can be completely different yet the same. Primarily, focusing on the people. Being able to see when someone needs to take a knee and having that conversation goes a long way. Every shift is a new opportunity to achieve the same goal: build America’s most reliable truck!

Sean

Production Supervisor
U.S. Army "Infantry"

I was an Army Infantryman for my 11 year career and when comparing job descriptions with that of a Production Supervisor, I was worried I would not have translatable skills. However, Ford has shown me that this couldn’t be further from the truth. Complex decision-making skills in a fast-paced and high-stakes environment is exactly what has benefited me in my new role."

Jody

Maintenance Supervisor
USASOC "Special Forces"

I chose Ford Motor Company because I wanted to continue serving in a role that reflects the same morals and values I carried throughout my military career like integrity, accountability, teamwork, discipline, and commitment to something bigger than myself.  Ford’s long-standing reputation for hard work, service, innovation, and support for veterans strongly aligns with the principles I believe in."

Patrick

MP&L Supervisor
U.S. Army "Logistics"

I retired from the Military in 2015. The transition was very difficult at first, but when I came to Ford and took the training classes, I realized that Ford’s values are almost identical to the military's. I have been able to associate with many things.

a history of honoring

Ford has proudly supported and employed military veterans since 1919, even repurposing our manufacturing facilities to support the war effort. Our long-standing partnerships and active support of the military community reflect over a century of commitment to veteran careers.

Rosie the Riveter

Rosie the Riveter, the muscle-flexing woman exclaiming “We Can Do It” in the famous World War II poster, was inspired by a Ford employee at Ford’s Willow Run bomber plant named Rose Will Monroe. She has become an icon not only for women who kept the U.S. factories rolling during wartime, but for all women of strength and determination.

Disabled American Veterans (DAV®)

Ford’s support for Disabled American Veterans (DAV®) spans nearly 100 years. The relationship began when Henry Ford provided Model Ts so DAV members could attend their annual convention. Today, Ford continues to provide funding and vehicle donations to help transport veterans to their medical appointments.
