As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining back-end/server-side components of applications, including APIs, databases, and services containing business logic.

You will build, enhance, and support applications deployed in cloud environments while ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software solutions.

  • Engage with customers to understand business use cases and requirements.
  • Analyze complex problems and design, develop, and deliver appropriate technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality applications using Java.
  • Develop and maintain back-end applications, APIs, and services.
  • Work with SQL or PLSQL and PostgreSQL or BigQuery for data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop and support applications in GCP or AWS environments.
  • Work with OpenShift and GECHub for application and platform-related activities.
  • Use Dynatrace for application monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Work with ServiceNow and JIRA for application support and delivery activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Perform problem analysis and implement solutions based on business requirements.

Mandatory Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech).
  • 6+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
  • Programming: Java
  • Databases: SQL or PLSQL; PostgreSQL or BigQuery
  • Cloud: GCP or AWS
  • Platforms: OpenShift, GECHub
  • Tools: Dynatrace, ServiceNow, JIRA
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

The following skills are preferred / nice to have and are not mandatory:

  • Programming: Groovy, JCL
  • Database: Database Security Controls, Database Auditing
  • Cloud & Migration: GCP Migration
  • Development Tool: IntelliJ IDEA
  • Operations & Security: SFTP Migration, Credential Management, Fleet Applications, SCRP Reviews, PwC Audit Support
  • Configuration / Integration: JSON and YAML concepts; API troubleshooting
  • Container / Delivery Knowledge: OpenShift, Kubernetes concepts, Docker concepts, Helm / Operators concepts, CI/CD concepts
