Your scope will include cost studies, scope of works development, installation project execution, benchmarking with other Ford’s facilities.
The ideal candidate is a technical leader who can navigate complex engineering studies from early concept (uPSC) through to final launch (uFSR). You will ensure that all installation solutions align with Ford’s Global Standards, quality standards, and investment efficiency goals. By collaborating with Process Engineering, Plant Operations, and external suppliers, you will drive continuous improvement and ensure our facilities are equipped to deliver world-class quality and performance.

Financial & Investment Management: Drive investment efficiency by identifying opportunities for equipment reuse. You will assume financial responsibility for program content, tracking purchase orders (POs) and maintaining the program "checkbook" to ensure HPU and F&T objectives are met.
Supplier Management: Lead the technical evaluation and selection of suppliers. You will ensure on-time delivery of OEM documentation (manuals, PM plans, spare parts lists) and conduct benchmarking studies to support manufacturing decisions.
Continuous Improvement: Champion the Lessons Learned process and implement standardized engineered solutions. You will document results from engineering trials and process improvement projects to update global Powertrain Standards.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related).
Experience: Professional experience in building and facilities engineering (e.g. maintenance, plant engineering, filtration systems).
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in mechanical installations and equipment procurement, MS Project.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage program budgets, timing plans, and technical supplier evaluations.
Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal) for global reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
