The MPL Process Coach is responsible for supporting, coaching, and monitoring the correct execution of Material Planning & Logistics (MPL) standard processes on the shop floor, ensuring that material flow — from receiving, delivery to point of use, up to returnable packaging shipment — is carried out in accordance with defined procedures, with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). This role reports to the Team Manager MPL and works closely with key Materials department positions such as the Material Flow Engineer, Error Proofing Engineer, eWMS Engineer, Material Planning Specialist (MPS), and Transportation Process Coach, to ensure process stability and continuous improvement.

  • Verify on the shop floor compliance with defined standard processes for material handling and flow.
  • Train and develop operational personnel (material handlers, line feeders, etc.) on standard processes and correct use of systems and tools.
  • Identify process deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Track area performance indicators (SQDC) and participate in gemba/board meetings.
  • Support implementation of improvements resulting from Error Proofing, Value Stream Mapping, and Six Sigma projects.
  • Collaborate with Material Flow Engineering, eWMS, and Transportation teams to ensure continuity of flow from receiving to returnable packaging shipment.
  • Floor coaching and training: ensure personnel operate according to Standardized Work procedures.
  • Process auditing: verify adherence to standards in receiving, delivery, and returnable packaging areas.
  • Problem solving: lead or support root cause analysis for process or material deviations.
  • Continuous improvement: participate in Six Sigma initiatives and material flow improvement projects.
  • Systems management: support correct use of eWMS, SMART System, and Global Packing Portal (GPP).
  • Cross-functional communication with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality (Error Proofing), and Transportation.
  • Previous experience in industrial logistics, material handling, or manufacturing (automotive industry preferred).
  • Experience leading or training operational teams.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and continuous improvement tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills on the production floor.

Education preference

Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
