We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a PD Champ within Electrical Distribution System (EDS) department. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and develop technical skills in designing, manufacturing, and troubleshooting automotive wiring systems. The role is ideal for candidates passionate about automotive technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. 

  • Assist in the design and layout and routing of wiring harnesses

  • Analyze Program Direction Letters and Trim Spiders.

  • Maintain build level complexity charts.

  • Perform Harness Complexity Analysis.

  • Collaborate with teams for accurate cost estimation. Support in selecting appropriate materials and connectors based on performance and cost considerations

  • Ensure compliance with cost, weight, quality, and timing targets.

  •  Apply Robustness Engineering Disciplines (e.g., FMEA).

  •  Understand and apply Six Sigma and 8D methodologies

  •  Audit and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for builds.

  • Understand and apply Six Sigma and 8D methodologies.

  1. Educational Background

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and electrical circuits.

  1. Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of automotive systems. 

  • Familiarity with wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.

  • Understanding of electrical connectors, terminals, and cable assembly techniques.

  1. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or SQL is essential for writing code and managing data

  • Understanding and usage of AI tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under supervision.

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report findings.
