What you´ll do:
- Proficient in CATIA V5/V6 and other CAD tools, as well as Teamcenter and Vismockup, to create and manage parts, assemblies, drawings, and BOM structures.
- Develops high-quality 3D design concepts that meet functional requirements, design rules, drafting standards, and program deliverables.
- Validates system interfaces and design compatibility using virtual tools, and resolves feasibility and functionality issues with engineering teams, suppliers, and tool shops.
- Leads design reviews and visualization activities, applying knowledge of automotive systems, particularly sheet metal front-end and platform requirements.
- Improves efficiency through automation and process enhancements; applies foundational quality tools and communicates questions and concerns clearly.
What you´ll need:
Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Automotive, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering.
90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Experience with 3D CAD and 2D drafting skills.
Strong engineering fundamentals in the areas of Mechanical, Structural, Materials and GD&T.
CAE basic knowledge as desirable.
Fundamental understanding of sheet metal forming processes, FLD and stamping feasibility
Knowledge of Core Tools skillset (DFMEA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, Systems Engineering)
Knowledge of CATIA V5/V6, Team Center, Vismockup.
Systems Engineering approach.
