In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a team of multiple GSRs in Mexico. Your direct manager will be located in US.
Your primary objective will be to create a new Shared Service for SAP Basis and Security & Controls (SnC) that will support the existing dedicated Basis and SnC teams. You will lead this team consitent of 8 GSRs in Mexico.
You will be tasked with streamlining & documenting processes across the various dedicated teams to enhance the efficiency of your Shared Service team and alleviate the workload of the existing teams. You will work closely together with all the other LL6s across the globe since this will be a high collaborative team.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (a Master's degree is a plus). The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in SAP Basis and Security & Controls, with a proven track record of leading and managing IT teams in a global or multi-location setting.
The candidate should possess strong technical skills in SAP Basis administration and Security & Controls, as well as familiarity with various SAP modules and technologies. Excellent leadership, project management, and process management skills are essential, along with strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical abilities. Great collaboration is a key skill we are looking at.
The candidate must be adaptable, willing to continuously learn, and stay updated with the latest SAP trends. This role requires the candidate to be based in Mexico, manage functional reporting for resources in Mexico, and be available to travel as needed.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP Basis and Security & Controls.
Minimum of 2 years proven experience in leading and managing IT teams, preferably in a global or multi-location setting.
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Strong understanding of SAP Security & Controls, including roles, authorizations, and compliance.
Familiarity with various SAP modules and technologies such as S4/HANA, ECC, FI, SCM, CRM, MM, TM, GRC, and Solman.
Leadership and Management:
Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team, with experience in team formation and development.
Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully implementing and managing IT projects.
Excellent organizational and process management skills, with the ability to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
Adaptability and Learning:
Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies, with a continuous learning mindset.
Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP technologies.
Location and Travel:
Willingness to work with global Teams in US, EU & IND.
Availability to travel as needed to support team and project requirements.
Language:
Proficiency in verbal and written English is required.
