This is a hands-on analytical and advisory role — not a people-management position. The successful candidate will be a self-directed contributor capable of driving clarity and alignment across cross-functional and cross-regional teams without formal authority.

Business Analysis & Process Documentation

• Conduct in-depth business analysis of current Retail and Wholesale operations across the Mexico region.

• Document current-state ("as-is") business processes, workflows, and system interactions using structured formats (e.g., process maps, swimlanes, BPMN).

• Identify inefficiencies, gaps, risks, and dependencies within existing business flows.

• Validate documented processes with business stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Business Partnership & Requirements Definition

• Partner directly with Retail and Wholesale business teams to understand evolving business needs, priorities, and pain points.

• Translate ambiguous business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements.

• Act as a trusted liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the analysis and solution lifecycle.

Solution Evaluation & Future-State Design

• Collaborate with Enterprise/Solution Architects and IT teams to evaluate potential regional solutions against business requirements.

• Research and assess industry-standard products and platforms relevant to automotive retail and wholesale operations (e.g., dealer management, inventory/floorplan, order management, CRM, or distribution systems).

• Develop and propose future-state process and solution recommendations, balancing business value, technical feasibility, cost, and implementation complexity.

• Support the development of business cases and recommendations for leadership and governance review.

Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration

• Serve as the regional voice for Mexico-specific business and market nuances within broader global/enterprise conversations.

• Work effectively across time zones and cultures with global architecture, IT, and business teams.

• Communicate findings, documentation, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, in English and Spanish as needed.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 6–10+ years of experience in business analysis, IT business partnering, or technical program/product management (commensurate with GSR 8 level).

• Demonstrated experience documenting complex, end-to-end business processes and workflows.

• Experience working directly with both business stakeholders and technical/architecture teams to define and evaluate solutions.

• Strong analytical, process-mapping, and problem-structuring skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messaging for executive, business, and technical audiences.

• Fluency in Spanish and English (business-level proficiency required for regional and global collaboration).

• Proven ability to operate independently and drive outcomes as an individual contributor without direct reporting authority.

Preferred

• Experience in the automotive industry, particularly within Retail or Wholesale/Distribution Credit business functions.

• Familiarity with industry-standard business and IT platforms relevant to retail/wholesale operations.

• Experience evaluating build-vs-buy or COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) product options, including fit-gap analysis and total cost of ownership considerations.

• Working knowledge of process modeling tools and methodologies (e.g., Visio, BPMN, Lucidchart).

• Experience working within a matrixed, global organization spanning multiple regions and time zones.

COMPETENCIES

• Business Acumen – Deep understanding of Retail and Wholesale business dynamics and how they translate into system and process needs.

• Analytical Rigor – Ability to break down complex, ambiguous business problems into structured, actionable insights.

• Stakeholder Influence – Ability to build trust and drive alignment across business, architecture, and IT without formal authority.

• Communication & Documentation – Clear, precise documentation and presentation skills across audiences and languages.

• Strategic & Future-Oriented Thinking – Ability to balance current-state realities with future-state ambition and feasibility.

• Regional & Cultural Fluency – Strong understanding of the Mexico business environment combined with the ability to represent regional needs within a global organization.
