Responsible for leading and managing the overall software integration testing organization for assigned vehicle platforms, subsystems, and features. Defines and champions the end-to-end testing strategy, manages overall resources (teams, budget, environments, tools), oversees test execution and strategic initiatives across multiple features and programs. Acts as the primary point of contact for testing activities, provides leadership and reports to senior leadership (Directors, Chief Engineers, executive management) on overall test status, progress, and quality metrics. Drives strategic direction for testing efficiency, automation, process improvement, and talent development.
Tasks:
Lead, mentor, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of Software Integration Test Supervisors, Test Leads, and Engineers.
Create and manage a highly collaborative and motivated team environment focused on best-in-class software testing and validation.
Define, communicate, and champion the overall software integration testing strategy and objectives for assigned platforms, subsystems, and features.
Act as the single point of contact for platform and features software testing at subsystem & system level.
Oversee and coordinate the test efforts across all domain features and programs managed by the teams.
Work with external and internal teams to identify, procure, and manage equipment and tools for testing activities with increased efficiency.
Manage the overall testing budget and resources (personnel, environments, tools) for the organization.
Work closely with software and features development teams to provide robust and customer-centric testing services.
Lead test teams (via Supervisors) to drive the creation of robust test design and drive automated test execution for each software maturity release cadence, and ensure JIRA triage issues are driven to closure.
Drive resolutions for incidents and reporting, including Preventive Actions implementations into Test Strategy.
Lead reporting and presentation to Directors, Chief Engineers, and other Managers, presenting plans to cover vehicle program priorities and support issue resolution.
Drive tests coordination and manages communications with users and clients, ensuring there is one channel of communication and a single point of contact.
Ensures Test setup is updated and in optimal conditions for evaluations and test at all times, overseeing environment management.
Drive Software testing integrity and requirement & test results traceability for the organization.
Drive Efficiency efforts to identify opportunities to move testing from the Road to the Lab to Virtual. Drive and continue to modernize and disrupt traditional fleet validation testing processes, tools, and methods.
Drive Feature signoff processes with proper documentation of initial/final software states, as well as software and resources used for testing.
Define, implement, and continuously improve the test processes and standards (i.e. ASPICE, ISTQB, ASAM, INCOSE, etc.) aligned with the Global Test Strategies.
Hire and recruit talent, mentor and manage training and career development of team members. Drive performance objectives and conduct people cycle performance reviews.
Manage risks related to overall testing activities (schedule, scope, resources, environment) across the organization.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the test organization and other departments (Development, Project Management, QA, external teams, clients).

5+ Years of experience with role or similar.
Advanced English Skills
4 days On Site: GTBC México (Naucalpan, México)
Bachelor Degree
Master Degree is a plus.
