  • As a leader of Natural Work Group, responsible to looks after Pre-treatment-E-coat and E-coat preparation and to achieve zone's internal measurable such as Safe work environment, Quality, FTT, Production Rate, Cost, Job versatility, Training and development, etc. 
  • Quality - Responsible to achieve zero defect through standardizing the operations, motivating & supporting operators and close monitoring of the process parameters. 
  • Conduct regular reviews with Team leaders & Operators for continuous improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale & Environment. 
  • Develop and establish the E-coat preparation line balancing thro time study and following Ford Production System (APT). 
  • Establish / monitor the E-coat preparation and lead feedback issues resolution with body and stamping shop. 
  • Develop & establish the E-coat surface preparation methods and train the operators. 
  • Responsible to ensure all elements of Ford Production System are in place and implemented in the Zone. 
  • Responsible for participation and execution for activities related to Quality system, Reward & Recognition, Engineering change control, etc. 
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams and support for quality improvement. 
  • Responsible to develop & follow the PFMEA, Control plan, Procedures, SPCs and Check sheets, etc.
  • Responsible to establish the robust training & development plan for E-coat operators to improve Job versatility ongoing basis. 
  • Responsible to ensure that necessary trainings and development for work group members.
  • Responsible to conduct regular meetings with suppliers to monitor Bulk materials, Consumables and Scrap cost metrics and ensure it is within the budget and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. 
  • Responsible to participate in Work group projects and support team members for executing improvement actions. 
  • Responsible to implement common best practices followed by other Ford Plants.

  • Engineering Degree in Paint Chemistry or related fileds.
  • Min 5 years of experience in Paint shop operations. 
  • Ability to work on night shift. • Automotive Paint shop Experience. 
  • Preferably having exposure to OEM automobile plants in Paint shop. 
  • Teamwork, Communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Leadership skills – Coaching, Teaching and Developing the highly motivated Team. 
  • Ability to lead and motivate team towards delivery of defined objectives, Drive for results, an attitude towards learning and developing the team and Computer skills for managing Paint operations.
