At Ford, Vehicle Care supports dealership teams with vehicle health alerts, recalls, and servicing-related workflows. The TPM plays a critical role in ensuring that product workstreams are translated into well-coordinated delivery plans across multiple teams and systems.
This role is accountable for driving the overall execution of assigned workstreams from discovery through delivery. The TPM will help clarify scope, facilitate cross-team planning, manage dependencies and risks, and keep stakeholders aligned on progress and commitments. The TPM will work in close partnership with Product to understand business priorities, with Engineering Managers to align delivery capacity, and with Lead Engineers to ensure the technical solution and system boundaries are sound.
In addition to workstream delivery, the TPM may also support scrum. This role requires strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills, along with the ability to work effectively across business and technical audiences.
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned Vehicle Care workstreams.
- Partner with Product to understand business goals, priorities, and expected outcomes.
- Facilitate workstream discovery and planning sessions to clarify scope, dependencies, and delivery approach.
- Coordinate with Lead Engineers and Engineering Managers to validate technical direction, system boundaries, and solution split.
- Translate engineering-approved decisions into actionable delivery tasks, timelines, and milestones.
- Track progress across teams and proactively manage risks, blockers, and dependency issues.
- Ensure alignment across Product, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders on scope, schedule, and delivery status.
- Support sprint planning, execution tracking, and delivery reporting for one team as assigned.
- Ensure work is broken down clearly and tracked through completion with appropriate visibility.
- Escalate issues early when delivery timelines, scope, or quality are at risk.
- Help improve delivery consistency, predictability, and cross-team coordination within Vehicle Care.
- Partner with teams to continuously improve planning, execution, and communication practices
