- Quality Improvement & Field Analysis
- Monitor and analyze warranty data to identify trends; initiate and lead quality improvement projects based on data insights
- Investigate complex field issues by collaborating with dealerships, service departments, and customers to understand problems for defining root causes
- Conduct deep-dive technical analysis on failed components in partnership with suppliers and laboratories to identify unexpected variations in manufacturing, supplier or design to develop effective preventive and corrective actions
- Global Collaboration & Reporting
- Facilitate technical discussions and audio conferences with overseas Ford engineers and global suppliers to drive project sustainable quality and timing
- Track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and project progress within plant quality forums
- Engineering Change Management
- Analyse, evaluate accurately and test engineering changes for current vehicle models ontime, to ensure zero-defect implementation and prevent production line disruptions
- Engineering Change Management
Participate in New Product Launch (NPL) phases, analyzing issues during trial assemblies, improvement and validation to meet quality requirements and scorecard, ensure launch readiness at milestones
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronics
- Experience: At least 01 year of professional experience or internship in a technical/engineering role. Experience in FDI manufacturing or automotive environments is highly preferred
Competencies and skills:
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma, 5why, Root Cause Analysis)
- Excellent command of English
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint…) for data management, data visualization, analysis and reporting
