Overview
At Ford, you’ll work on ideas that matter, alongside passionate people who want to make a global impact. Together, we’re shaping the next era of transportation—grounded in purpose, driven by progress. Make your move.
- Job Type: Full time
- Work Type: Hybrid
We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.
Racing is where our story began.
In 1901, Henry Ford climbed into a car he built himself—"Sweepstakes"—and beat America's most famous driver. He wasn't a racer, but he had to win. He did. Ford Motor Company was born from that victory.
That fighting spirit lives on in Ford Racing today. We're the engineers, strategists, and competitors who bring Ford's track-tested edge into every vehicle we build. Every track, every stage, every proving ground—that's where we prove ourselves.
The result: one of the world's most iconic brands, legendary nameplates, and a team unmatched in the industry.
Our mantra: Race to win, engineer to lead.
If you're a competitor, innovator, or performance obsessive, Ford Racing is where you belong. Help us write the next chapter.
In this position...
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Customer Racing Aftersales Specialist to support Ford Racing customer racing operations across North America. Reporting to the Global Customer Racing Aftersales Manager, this role will serve as the regional point of contact for customers, racing teams, technical partners, and distributors, helping deliver world-class service, parts support, and operational coordination throughout the lifecycle of our motorsports programs.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
This position requires a collaborative, hands-on team player who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced customer racing environment.
The successful candidate will communicate effectively across cultures and levels of the business, coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders, remove operational barriers, and work within global standards and regional requirements.
Passionate about customer experience, this individual will place the customer at the center of daily decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality regional aftersales experience.
Customer racing or motorsports aftersales experience is strongly preferred, together with practical knowledge of parts, logistics, technical service, and event support.
What you'll do...
Regional Operations & Program Coordination
Execute the regional aftersales plan for Ford Racing motorsports programs in North America, including One Make Series, GT4, GT3, and other customer racing or special vehicle programs.
Coordinate day-to-day service, parts, logistics, and customer support activities in alignment with the Global Customer Racing Aftersales Manager.
Collaborate closely with Ford Racing Engineering, Vehicle Operations, race teams, importers, distributors, and regional partners.
Support regional program launches, next-generation vehicle rollouts, and product or program end-of-line activities.
Customer & Trackside Support
Build and maintain strong, solution-oriented relationships with customers, racing teams, technical partners, importers, and distributors across North America.
Coordinate aftersales support at regional race events, including pre-event preparation, trackside support, and post-event follow-up.
Act as the first point of contact for urgent regional customer issues, resolving matters directly where possible and escalating appropriately to the Global Customer Racing Aftersales Manager and technical teams.
Parts & Logistics Management
Monitor regional inventory requirements, parts availability, backorders, and logistics execution to support customers and race events.
Work with purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, logistics providers, and regional distribution partners to support the lifecycle of components and systems.
Apply global aftersales processes consistently across the region while identifying practical adaptations required for North American market, customs, cross-border freight, and regulatory conditions.
Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement
Support implementation and effective regional use of Ford Racing’s global ERP and other aftersales systems.
Prepare post-event reports, track recurring issues, and share regional insights to improve future planning, parts readiness, and service execution.
Develop or adapt parts bulletins, service communications, and training materials for regional teams and customers.
Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and operational efficiency through process enhancements and digital tools.
Commercial & Financial Oversight
Operate within the approved regional aftersales budget and provide inputs for forecasting, pricing, parts demand, and revenue planning as required.
Support cost-effective regional service and logistics models that meet customer expectations without compromising quality.
You'll have...
5+ years of experience in aftersales, technical service, parts, logistics, or customer support within motorsports, automotive, or high-performance vehicles.
Strong understanding of motorsports operations, customer support, and the parts supply chain.
Experience using ERP systems, technical documentation platforms, and customer service tools.
Demonstrated project coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
Ability to travel extensively across North America and to provide support outside standard working hours when required by race events or urgent customer needs.
Even better, you may have...
Experience supporting customer racing series, race teams, or high-performance vehicle programs.
Knowledge of motorsports and automotive markets across North America, including cross-border freight, customs, and distributor networks.
Experience implementing global processes within a regional or local market.
