Overview

At Ford, you’ll work on ideas that matter, alongside passionate people who want to make a global impact. Together, we’re shaping the next era of transportation—grounded in purpose, driven by progress. Make your move.

  • Job Type: Full time
  • Work Type: Hybrid

We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.

Racing is where our story began.

In 1901, Henry Ford climbed into a car he built himself—"Sweepstakes"—and beat America's most famous driver. He wasn't a racer, but he had to win. He did. Ford Motor Company was born from that victory.

That fighting spirit lives on in Ford Racing today. We're the engineers, strategists, and competitors who bring Ford's track-tested edge into every vehicle we build. Every track, every stage, every proving ground—that's where we prove ourselves.

The result: one of the world's most iconic brands, legendary nameplates, and a team unmatched in the industry.

Our mantra: Race to win, engineer to lead.

If you're a competitor, innovator, or performance obsessive, Ford Racing is where you belong. Help us write the next chapter.

In this position...

The Ford Racing Ownership Experience Strategy Manager leads the strategic design of owner experiences for critical Ford Racing products. The role translates Ford Racing’s product and go-to-market priorities into meaningful experiences that strengthen customer connection, support business objectives, and build lasting engagement with owners and prospective customers.

Working across Ford Racing and the broader Ford Experiences ecosystem, this manager will shape new experiences, support strategic development of critical go-to-market projects, connect key pillars of Ford Racing go-to-market, and help develop new driving experiences. Success requires customer empathy, strategic thinking, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to influence across teams to move concepts from strategy toward implementation.

What you'll do...

  • Lead the development of compelling, customer-centered ownership experiences for critical Ford Racing products. Partner across the organization to ensure experience strategy supports Ford Racing priorities, connects with the broader Ford Experiences ecosystem, and is carried through into coordinated go-to-market plans and scalable experiences.

  • Owner Experience Strategy: Lead the strategic design of the owner experience for critical Ford Racing products, aligning experience direction with customer needs and Ford Racing priorities.

  • Experience Design & Validation: Design, research, and test new experiences with owners and prospective customers to evaluate customer desirability and alignment with strategic goals.

  • Ownership Journey Development: Refine and validate the experience across the ownership journey to strengthen customer connection and deliver customer and business value.

  • Go-to-Market Strategy Support: Support the strategic development of critical projects within Ford Racing go-to-market, helping ensure that customer experience considerations are incorporated into planning and execution.

  • Go-to-Market Connection: Strengthen connection points between the key pillars of Ford Racing go-to-market, partnering across teams to support a more integrated and consistent customer experience.

  • Ford Experiences Ecosystem: Support the development of new driving experiences within the Ford Experiences ecosystem, connecting Ford Racing products and customer interests with relevant experience opportunities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across Ford Racing and the broader Ford organization to align experience strategy and execution, build stakeholder support, and enable effective implementation.

  • Measures of Success: Use customer insights and relevant data to help define measures of success and assess the customer, financial, and operational impact of assigned initiatives.

  • We are seeking a customer-focused, strategic thinker who can bring together diverse perspectives and translate customer needs into meaningful experiences. The successful candidate will be comfortable working through ambiguity, influencing without relying solely on formal authority, and collaborating across functions to advance Ford Racing priorities.

Experience & Ability

  • Experience developing and advancing strategies through multiple phases, using human-centered design principles from early concept through implementation.

  • Ability to design, research, test, and refine customer experiences using customer insights and data.

  • Ability to lead through influence and collaborate across teams and the broader enterprise.

  • Skill in simplifying complex issues, developing a compelling point of view, and using a data-informed case to drive action.

  • Experience developing measures of success to track customer, financial, and operational performance.

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively to senior leaders and key stakeholders.

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across brands, regions, and organizational levels.

  • Recent Marketing, Sales Field, and/or Field Operations experience is highly encouraged.

Leadership Behaviors

  • Collaborative: Builds strong partnerships and brings diverse perspectives together.

  • Brave and Proactive: Takes initiative, raises opportunities, and helps move ideas forward.

  • Influential: Gains alignment and advances work across teams.

  • Creative and Curious: Explores new ways to strengthen the customer experience.

  • Strategic and Analytical: Connects customer insights, business priorities, and data to inform decisions.

  • Empathetic and Self-Aware: Seeks to understand customers and colleagues and adapts effectively to feedback and changing circumstances.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in strategy, brand marketing, or a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of human centered design, competitive analysis, and marketing campaign development

  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, communications, and brand teams

  • Excellent project management experience

Even better, you may have...

  • Experience in the automotive or motorsports industry.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex tasks.

  • Excellent communication and relationship skills, putting the customer first.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving products.

  • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to requested schedules as needed.

  • Passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences.
