The launch of Ford Pro represents a landmark shift in Ford Australia’s approach to business sales, transitioning us from a traditional, transactional hardware model to a comprehensive, multi-tiered ecosystem solutions provider.
As the Technical Product Lead for Ford Pro Intelligence, you will define and deliver enablement platforms for our B2B software solutions across the International Markets Group (IMG), which includes ANZ, Asia, and the Middle East & Africa. Partnering closely with engineering teams, key business stakeholders, and enterprise customers, you will define, build, and scale software solutions that drive measurable value for commercial fleets.
This is a Senior Individual Contributor role that uniquely bridges deep technical execution with commercial leadership. In addition to guiding the technical roadmap, you will serve as the financial planner for the wider AP Ford Pro Tech Product Group and act as the functional technical expert in key customer engagements.
Reporting directly to the IMG IT Manager – Ford Pro Intelligence, this hybrid role is based at our IMG Product Development Centre in Campbellfield. It offers an incredible opportunity to help build the next generation of customer experiences for Ford Asia-Pacific while collaborating closely with business stakeholders across our Melbourne-based, regional, and global teams.
Product Strategy & Delivery: Lead the end-to-end planning and deployment of Ford Pro’s software enablement platforms. You will manage roadmap development, define features and user stories, assess technical feasibility, prioritize backlogs, and orchestrate release management to ensure seamless delivery.
Customer Engagement & Technical Advisory: Act as the functional technical expert during high-value customer engagements and sales opportunities. You will translate complex technical capabilities—such as APIs and system integrations—for enterprise clients, while gathering direct market feedback to continuously improve our product roadmap.
Commercial & Financial Leadership: Oversee the financials, budgets, and key product planning metrics for the broader Ford Pro Tech Product Group, ensuring strong alignment between technical milestones and commercial objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with local and global stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical requirements. You will collaborate closely with related Ford Pro Tech teams to identify and adapt existing global solutions, delivering incremental value to regional markets.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate development progress, share key lessons learned, and challenge the status quo to optimize delivery. You will stay ahead of emerging B2B SaaS and fleet management industry trends to drive innovative, future-ready solutions.
Vendor & Partner Management: Partner with internal purchasing teams to source complex technology products and services. This includes drafting RFQs, evaluating supplier proposals, and executing criteria-based vendor selection to accelerate our software delivery.
