As a Tax Accounting Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the Direct and Indirect Tax function, including month-end and quarter-end close activities, tax accounting, reconciliations, and provision calculations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to reporting and presentations for senior management on key tax and financial metrics.

- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including preparation and posting of journal entries.
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare tax sub-ledgers.
- Conduct balance sheet and P&L flux analysis.
- Prepare and support direct and indirect tax provisions.
- Prepare or review VAT/GST input and output reports for statutory filings.
- Assist in tax compliance, reporting, and audit-related activities.
- Collaborate with Tax, IT Systems, Accounts Payable, and Inventory teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support management reporting and presentation of key tax metrics.
Required Qualifications
- CA Inter / CMA Inter (Semi-qualified) candidates - Both Groups completed
- 0 to 1 years of experience in Tax Accounting, Financial Accounting, or related areas.
- Knowledge of Direct Tax and Indirect Tax processes.
- Experience in preparing tax reconciliations and tax provisions.
- Working knowledge of SAP for journal entries and reconciliations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Advanced formulas
- Macros (preferred)
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to VAT/GST compliance and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
