We are seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support the North America Property Accounting team within Global Project & Property Accounting. This role will be responsible for fixed asset accounting activities, account reconciliations, month-end close support, accrual calculations, audit coordination, and operational reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong accounting foundation, analytical mindset, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and effective communication skills.
The Asset Management Analyst will support property accounting operations by ensuring fixed asset transactions and accounting activities are completed accurately and on time. The role involves managing fixed asset records, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end close activities, preparing financial analyses, and partnering with internal stakeholders to meet reporting and compliance requirements.
This position offers an opportunity to gain exposure to fixed asset accounting, financial reporting, audit support, and cross-functional collaboration within a global finance environment.
  • Process fixed asset transfers, retirements, disposals, reinstatements, and asset record corrections.
  • Prepare and complete reconciliations for fixed asset accounts.
  • Calculate unspent accruals and other accruals as part of the month-end close process.
  • Perform system reconciliations and comparisons between designated accounting systems during month-end close activities.
  • Analyze month-over-month fluctuations in unspent accrual balances and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Perform tooling amortization analysis and resolve outstanding items as necessary.
  • Support requests from business partners and supported locations.
  • Coordinate and respond to internal and external audit requests.
  • Prepare and report monthly operational metrics related to asset management and reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements
  • Required Qualifications

    • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) qualification.
    • 0-2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, fixed assets, or property accounting.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation activities.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar financial systems.
    • Exposure to month-end close processes and account reconciliations.
    • Experience supporting internal or external audits.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
