About our team
Join our dynamic Product Development Forward Model Finance team, where you will be instrumental in building and evaluating the financial viability of our Future Product Portfolio.
This role is responsible for developing comprehensive profit models that adhere to the highest financial principles, enabling informed decision-making for new vehicle programs and contributing directly to Ford's sustainable growth and profitability.

About the Role:
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will serve as a vital finance business partner for assigned global and regional product development programs. You will own profit modeling, milestone variance analysis, and scenario/sensitivity assessments that directly inform go/no-go and program prioritization decisions. Working closely with cross-functional Product Development (PD) teams and Corporate FP&A, you will ensure the delivery of timely, accurate financials while driving process improvements in profit management.

ey Responsibilities:

  • Profit Modeling & Financial Analysis: Own the profit model for assigned programs. Prepare full income statements to support milestone reviews, ensuring all updates are delivered on time with high-quality variance analysis.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Perform sensitivity analyses and evaluate potential business cases for the addition or deletion of vehicle programs using standard financial metrics (e.g., NPV, IRR). Present study results logically and concisely to program leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Conduct due diligence on data inputs from various cross-functional sources. Assess data reasonableness, resolve discrepancies, document assumptions, and confidently explain milestone walks.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify, implement, and automate process improvements to reduce manual effort, shorten reporting cycle times, and support regional/global profit process alignment.
  • Team Development: Collaborate proactively with regional team members, share subject-matter expertise, and handle profit-model financials with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4–7 years of experience in FP&A, financial planning and reporting, or program finance (product development or manufacturing experience preferred).
  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), CWA, or MBA in Finance (or equivalent relevant qualification).
  • Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, advanced formulas, Power Query). Proficiency in SQL or equivalent data extraction tools, and data visualization software (Power BI or Tableau).
  • Soft Skills: Highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical, communication (fluent English), and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to work under pressure, maintain high integrity, and pay strict attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automotive product development finance, pricing, or sensitivity modeling.
  • Familiarity with Profit Reporting and Management Reporting systems.
  • Built on one bold idea and the passion to define sustainable transportation for generations to come, Ford is a story about people with a vision that’s still being written.
