Insights Manager

• Support the EU Research function and deliver consumer and product research across the EU region.

• Lead Voice-of-the-Customer (VOC) and analytical studies to support Ford in Europe.

• Conduct ad hoc research and analysis as required.

• Lead the delivery of actionable Voice of Customer input at all levels and ensure the implementation of research input wherever possible.

• Manage the planning, design, execution, analysis, and reporting of research events via proofreading and editing questionnaires, discussion guides, reports, and other research instruments to meet company standards.

• Coordinate with global research partners to plan and execute multi-market research events.

• Manage research supplier staff on-site during research engagements to ensure project quality, design, and analytics are aligned with business objectives and company standards.

• Manage the relevant marketing research supplier base to ensure quality, cost, and timing requirements are met.

• Liaise and interface with key internal clients to ensure their research requirements are met.

• Prepare Project Statement of Work (SOW) and Research Plan Discussion Agreement Forms for projects.

• Electronically distribute reports and presentations; publish final versions to the Lighthouse APP&R System.

• Handle all quote evaluation, billing, and procurement responsibilities for individual projects.

• Represent the research team through attendance and/or presentation of research results in key Management Reviews and Meetings.

• Generate effective presentations and actionable written reports to support business processes and deliverables.

• Continuously investigate, develop, and apply new research techniques and methods, particularly the opportunities presented by AI.

• Encourage and participate in APP&R and Product Research cross-functional teams.

• Work closely with the Chennai GDIA (Global Data Insight & Analytics) function to ensure greater data analytics for EU research studies.

• Liaise with and support the IMG research function as required.

• Manage the delivery of regular metrics reports including CMO Report and Dashboard, European Monthly Metrics Report & APP&R input to the European Spark report.

• Manage ad hoc in house research projects implemented via the Chennai GDIA team, including AI questionnaire development, analysis of data and production of final reports.

Other:

• As the position is remote and based in Chennai with responsibility for Europe, the ability to work with remote teams is essential.

• Collaboration with the Chennai-based IMG Research team and GDIA group is key to success in this role.
