The Manufacturing Program Management Engineer will own end-to-end program delivery for vehicle and powertrain manufacturing initiatives. The role involves creating and managing detailed schedules in JIRA, consolidating program metrics, reviewing progress with functional leads, identifying risks, and escalating issues proactively. The incumbent will also lead leadership reviews by presenting clear, data-driven insights through dashboards, scorecards, and executive presentations.
- Lead and deliver vehicle and powertrain manufacturing programs in line with program objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed program schedules and workplans in JIRA to support program governance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and program leads to define scope, deliverables, resources, timelines, and dependencies.
- Establish data assessment and reporting mechanisms to track program performance and identify deviations.
- Analyse program progression, identify risks, and escalate issues to leadership at the appropriate time.
- Ensure adherence to organisational standards, quality processes, and performance expectations.
- Oversee multiple project teams and ensure alignment to overall program goals.
- Create and maintain program dashboards, scorecards, and reports to govern program execution.
- Prepare and present leadership and program review decks using clear, structured, and actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years of manufacturing experience in the automotive OEM industry, Aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, including vehicle and powertrain systems.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification – preferred.
- Hands-on experience using JIRA for program scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in creating executive-level presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
