We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Enterprise Architecture Leader to drive strategic technology initiatives within Industrial Systems EA. As the Enterprise Architecture Leader, you will be responsible for shaping and executing technology strategies that align with our business objectives and drive innovation across the enterprise.
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide technology architecture strategies for Supply Chain Material flow in alignment with business goals.
- Take business goals and translate them into Technology Requirements
- Develop and create reusable reference architectures for common business capabilities to help standardize technology solutions and reduce redundancy.
- Create and develop technology roadmaps
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Build and mentor a high-performing architecture team to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and IT organization and foster collaboration.
- Serve as a strategic partner to business units, providing guidance on technology investments and solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in technology processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other SupplyChain IT and EA team members to drive end to end efficiency in Material planning and flow from Suppliers to line side
- Participate in IT governance processes to ensure that technology decisions are aligned with the organization's overall strategy and risk appetite.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in all technology initiatives.
- Evaluate new technologies and trends to determine potential impact on the organization. This involves conducting proof-of-concepts including in the areas of AI/ML and other emerging trends and make recommendations
- Support IT teams in the seamless transition from strategy to development and delivery phases and in creating technical designs and documentation for new features and functionalities.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to present to senior management and write clear and concise documentation.
- Exceptional time management and digital proficiency, utilizing tools such as MS Office
- The ability to influence and persuade others to adopt architectural recommendations.
- Understanding of solution architecture principles and patterns, including microservices and API first design.
- Experience in manufacturing industry-specific technology solutions is desirable
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) and cloud-native architectures
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.
Nice to have
- Experience working with Ford Plant Floor systems
- Industry experience in Automotive
- Certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus.
- Data Architecture Knowledge including data modeling, data warehousing, data integration, and data governance principles.
