We are seeking a skilled Cloud Integration Engineer with strong Java and backend development experience to design and implement enterprise-grade integrations and microservices.
In this role, you will work with modern cloud technologies, middleware patterns, and API-driven architectures to enable secure and scalable data exchange across systems. You will collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable and high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop backend services and system integrations using Java and Spring frameworks
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) using JSON and XML formats
  • Implement middleware patterns including transformation, routing, and orchestration
  • Deploy and maintain applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Use containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
  • Optimize database interactions using PostgreSQL (queries, indexing, transactions)
  • Implement security mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
  • Contribute to DevOps activities including Git, CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Delivery), and build tools (Maven/Gradle)
  • Provide production support, debugging, and performance tuning

Qualifications

✅ Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in backend development or integration engineering
  • Strong experience in Java (8/11/17) and Spring (Boot, MVC, Data JPA, Security)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Understanding of middleware/integration concepts
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL optimization

⭐ Preferred

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Exposure to CI/CD workflows and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of OAuth2 and JWT authentication
  • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
