The position or role primary job will be to provide IT support to study, estimate new model program launches in International Market groups, do launch of plant floor IT applications in respective markets which includes controls related activities, perform plant digitization activities and bring innovations with value creations.
Operational Responsibilities include:
Interact with various stakeholders (Customers, Vendors) to get a detailed insight into solution requirement
Manage people, process within the agreed upon framework to execute projects
Develop products/solutions based on latest technology trends
Handle the issues arising at the client site and providing necessary customer support during Production trials(TT & PP until Job1)
Identify issues in existing processes of client and recommend innovative solutions to increase efficiency
Perform independently on all assignments with minimum technical / administrative instructions
Planning , developing , coordinating , and directing a large and important project or a number of small projects with many complex features
Key competencies or skills to be gained in this role:
Increased knowledge in Ford’s Plant Controls & Networking Architectures
Better understanding of Control standards & PLC Programming standard followed globally
Increased awareness on Ford’s Production planning & how planning is distributed until shop floor devices
Increased visibility with high level management within MFG IT and business stakeholders
| Education Qualification | Preferably a B.E degree or equivalent in Computer science or Manufacturing |
| No. of Years of Experience | 3 or more years of solid experience in a related field |
| Professional Exposure | · Experience with Siemens & RockwellPLC,HMI Programming, Familiar with Industrial networking protocols |
| (Technical Skills) | |
| Preferred previous experiences | · Proven work history in a multinational company. |
| · PLC Programming,SCADA/HMI,Sensors,OPC Communication, Third party PC/Device interface | |
| Functional Skills | · Knowledge in PLC – PC interface and Data transfer between devices |
| · Capable of leading adhoc teams as needed | |
| · Able to deliver results in a geographically and culturally diverse team of peers and managers | |
| Behavioral Skills | · Capable of working with minimal supervision |
