Sr Data Analyst

The Global Tax Product Team manages global applications for tax determination and tax reporting services. Tax determination services are called by various transactional systems to determine the tax that must be paid for a transaction. Tax reporting creates mandatory reports that must be sent to tax authorities in various countries. The team supports cloud services: Vertex O’Series on Demand for tax determination and Vertex TPE for reporting (Tax Data Hub). Informatica and other middleware are used to manage the interfaces of legacy Ford systems to the cloud services. The team is very closely working with the tax systems experts in the office of tax council (OTC) to support the requirements of our global customers, both for existing applications and services, as well as for new projects (e.g. Aurora rollout, IERP).

• Required to work very closely with Business across Tax 

a. Understand requirements and translate into technical specifications/design.

b. To design & develop modules in Informatica IICS across AI [Application Integration] & DI [Data Integration]. 

c. Should work with core XML Technologies such as XML, XML Schema, XPath, XQuery & JSON.

d. Need to have a good understanding of process notation and execution language (BPMN, BPEL).

e. Define databases and develop script for integration with database. 

f. Understand performance implications and appropriate design implications.

g. Should have good understanding of Shell scripting and API's.

• Required to work very closely with Product & other integration teams in the following areas

a. Understand APIs & data structures within relevant applications as appropriate [Vertex, S4] and be able to develop/maintain relevant integrations in support of those.

b. Understand and provide relevant development/maintenance support across different Integrations between Ariba and upstream/downstream systems. 

c. Ability to provide detailed impact analysis and estimates for the impacted Informatica Integration components.

d. To have a good understanding of Ariba Functionality & System design and support Functional Analysts/Product designers appropriately.

• 6+ years of experience in Informatica Cloud Product(ICS/IICS) with good hands-on in both Application Integration and Data Integration Services [ICRT/ICS/BPEL processes].
• 6+ years of experience in Web Services (SOAP/REST) design & hands-on development.
• 5+ years of experience in RDMS – SQL(DDL/DML) experience.
• Previous Experience with Informatica Power Center is added advantage.
• Previous experience with BPM and Service Orchestration Tools (Active VOS, IBM BPM, Oracle BPM, JBMPM) is added advantage.
• Previous Experience with EAI and EAI Design Patterns is added advantage.
