This role is critical to China’s IERP success. It ensures that global Plan-to-Report processes and reporting standards are implemented seamlessly in China while balancing global consistency with local compliance and business needs. The Specialist partners with PDO and business stakeholders to prioritize requirements, analyze gaps, and recommend best-fit solutions using market benchmarks. Responsibilities include managing the transition of local systems into the IERP roadmap, overseeing projects, and ensuring lifecycle governance. Postlaunch, the role serves as the SPOC for operational escalations, driving resolution, and continuous efficiency improvements.
- PTR Portfolio Integration: Serve as China’s PTR portfolio integrator, embedding Plan-to-Report requirements into the IERP launch and aligning with global templates.
- Local Needs Analysis: Partner with PDO and business teams to evaluate China specific requirements, provide market benchmarks, and recommend best fit solutions.
- Finance Portfolio Transition: Manage the transition of local finance systems/processes into the I‑ERP roadmap; ensure lifecycle governance and compliance.
- Local Finance Projects: Lead or support implementation of local finance application projects required by regulatory or business needs.
- Operational SPOC: Post‑launch, act as the local single point of contact for operational issue escalation; drive resolution and continuous efficiency improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with global I-ERP teams, finance leadership, and local business units for smooth integration and aligned decisions.
- Documentation & Governance: Maintain clear documentation of PTR requirements, decisions, and transition plans for audit and compliance readiness.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Languages
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese and professional English proficiency for global collaboration.
Experience
- 5–8 years in ERP finance processes (SAP S/4HANA FI/CO strongly preferred).
- Direct experience in MNC ERP rollouts (multicounty or regional deployments), including testing, cutover, and hyper-care participation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage finance system transitions and lifecycle planning
- Experience analyzing China specific regulatory requirements and translating them into practical design/operating decisions.
- Knowledge of ERP integration frameworks (e.g., SAP CPI/PI‑PO, Azure Integration Services, API/EDI patterns) and how they apply to finance processes and reporting is a plus.
Technical Skills
- SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO), reporting and data integration (e.g., TDH or equivalent), interface governance, and familiarity with controls/compliance frameworks.
- Working knowledge of API-first integration, message queues, and data quality/MDM concepts that impact Plan-to-Report.
