Lead display/LCD commodity and supplier development as SME of site STA.
-Drive global display/LCD program flawless launch
-LCD supplier Q1 development
-Quality issue handling and PCA validation, etc
-Global display/LCD lessons learn migration
-Drive display/LCD module commodity Flawless Launches (APQP, Capacity Planning and Verification, PPAP--Production Part Approval Process), supplier process issues closure in new program launch phase.
-Drive robust Failure Mode Avoidance through the development and utilization of Supplier Manufacturing Health Chart assessments for LCD commodity.
-Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing excellence throughout the display supply base.
-Manage the progression of key suppliers to achieve Q1 and manage the deployment of the Q1 process and disciplines
-Drive deployment of Quality performance requirements, initiatives and training to supply base in STA tools (e.g. Warranty Reduction, Benchmarking, Lean Manufacturing, Reliability and Robustness, G8D (Global 8 Disciplines) methodology, PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), Gage R&R (Repeatability and Reproducibility), etc.) as required.
-Provide new manufacturing site evaluations and Quality data analysis to support new supplier sourcing.
-Maintain Quality-related database for assigned suppliers.
-Drive closure of supplier process quality issues related to Stop Ship/Build, common cause BSAQ (Balanced Single Agenda for Quality) projects, and Field Actions.
-Bachelor or advanced degrees in Engineering, Major in electrical and electronics will be preferred.
-5+ year Experience in manufacturing process and process control method of automotive display/LCD module commodities.
-5+ year Experience in Quality systems, tools and techniques of automotive display/LCD module commodities.
-Deep understanding of display/LCD module front end and back end process flow and various failure mode analysis.
-Good communication skill and be proficient in English when working with global teams.
-Project management / Problem Solving / Supply Crisis Management experience.
-Positive learning attitude and can work under high pressure.
-Adaptable to frequent business trips by job needs.
