Objectives of this Role:

  • Provide program leadership for technical recognition and professional development projects, ensuring all technical engagements align with broader Ford skill teams such as Tech Strategy and Product Development.
  • Generate data-driven insights by maintaining and analyzing program data to report metrics and drive continuous process improvements across all technical engagements.
  • Utilize custom dashboards and data visualization tools to drive strategy synthesis and provide leadership with real-time visibility into program health.
  • Facilitate stakeholder management by establishing and maintaining relationships with internal teams, committee members, and global technical specialists to ensure alignment on key milestones.
  • Proactively identify and execute initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and enhance the delivery of technical programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical recognition and award programs by evaluating submissions for adherence to requirements and ensuring the visibility of high-impact projects to Ford leadership.
  • Create and maintain custom dashboards using PowerBI, QlikSense, and Jira to track KPIs, program milestones, and the latest updates for technical engagements.
  • Regularly present data-driven insights and new operational methods/tools to leadership teams to gain alignment and buy-in.
  • Direct the execution of technical summits and learning series, including budget estimation, expense tracking, and procurement of necessary financial instruments.
  • Coordinate logistical aspects for high-profile technical engagements, collaborating with venues, AV teams, and technical speakers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Develop and execute formal communication plans in partnership with Ford Technology Communications to ensure global reach and visibility of all technical engagements.
  • Ensure program alignment with other Ford skill teams to support overall corporate objectives and strategic synthesis.
  • Identify and implement new methods, processes, or tools to optimize program delivery and enhance operational efficiency across the technical community.
  • Maintain accurate global technical specialist databases to facilitate timely communication, updates, and registration management for various technical engagements.
  • Analyze post-engagement feedback and performance data to generate executive summaries and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Design and maintain SharePoint pages and web content to ensure technical community members have access to the latest program information and resources.
  • Utilize Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, and Power Apps to streamline registration processes, surveys, and automated communications, enhancing overall program efficiency.
  • Produce high-quality management presentation content, applying graphic design proficiency to communicate the strategic impact of technical engagements.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of progressive professional experience in project management, program management, or business operations, with responsibility for managing multiple concurrent initiatives impacting business operations or technical delivery.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management:
  • Demonstrated success over 4+ years communicating complex project and technical information through written documentation and verbal presentations, with regular interaction across individual contributor, manager, director, and executive levels.

Organizational & Execution Skills:

  • Proven ability to independently manage 5–10 highpriority assignments simultaneously, applying proactive planning, risk tracking, and deadline management in fastpaced corporate environments.
  • Technical Proficiency & Automation:
  • Advanced, handson experience (minimum 34 years) using:
  • SharePoint (site creation, permission structures, document governance)
  • Microsoft Forms
  • Power Automate (workflow automation and approvals)
  • Power Apps (custom app development)
  • Data visualization tools such as Power BI or QlikSense
  • to design, implement, and maintain automated workflows and reporting solutions supporting business operations.

Analytical & Operational Discipline:

  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated by consistent adherence to project timelines, budgetary constraints, and data accuracy standards, with experience tracking KPIs, risks, and dependencies across initiatives.
  • Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Web & Platform Development:
  • Experience designing or enhancing internal web platforms or business tools focused on usability, scalability, and process efficiency, with measurable improvements to workflow speed or user adoption.
  • Logistics & Large-Scale Coordination:
  • Direct experience coordinating logistics for large corporate events, technical summits, or enterprisewide engagements, including crossfunctional planning, vendor coordination, and schedule management.
  • Executive Presentation & Design:
  • Proficiency in graphic design and visual storytelling for creating executivelevel presentations, dashboards, and reports used in leadership decisionmaking forums.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a closely related technical or business field, evidencing formal academic training in both technical systems and business processes.
  • Master’s degree or MBA is preferred and considered an asset, particularly for roles involving enterprise-scale coordination, automation strategy, or executive stakeholder engagement.

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480- 120,000. 

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
