Responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations in a designated area of the paint production plant. Leads and advises (coaches) a team of hourly personnel (which usually ranges between 30 and 90 unionized employees) to achieve the objectives of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment (SQDCM) through the execution of standardized work.
- Coordination of daily actions for delivery of production corresponding to SQDCME
- Daily review of SQDCME indicators with work group
- Daily standardization of Base Technicians
- Analysis of quality problems using QLS, NGAVS and work team for root causes
- Implementation of Containment (ICA)
- Coordination and implementation of correction action (PCA)
- Model FPS through tasks such as startup, verification, closure, LPR, standardization, among others
- Update of versatility matrix
- Documentation of kaizens, projects in DMAIC format
- Teamwork for with different areas and departments for follow-up of units (Note: "para con" translates literally to "for with")
- Escalation of level 2 problems through DCC
- Basic administration of people through PeopleSoft - DROT system
- Administration of personnel to comply with 3x3 versatility as a minimum
- Follow-up to Constraint Management meetings
- Teamwork for improvements of the area level ZCC
- Coordination of actions for improvement of Quality of the Line
- Daily review of rejects reported in the line (FTT)
- Implementation of Containment (ICA)
- Identification of Root Cause analyzing Unit history and production processes of the department
- Coordination and implementation of correction action (PCA)
- Coordination of campaigns
- Follow-up of quality problems in finished unit yards
- Analysis of problem scope, root cause, temporary containments (ICA) and permanent (PCA)
- Definition of repair method, driver logistics, yard distribution and repair flow
- Supervision of repairs
- Follow-up to Tip Level/PDI/FCPA reports
- Follow-up with work team to avoid leaks, create containments with the objective of decreasing defects that can be considered customer calls
- Follow-up of damages
- Coordination with damage tracker for reports of damages presented in production line or in yards
- Apply containments and corrections to what is reported
- Update of controlled documents of the line
- Follow-up of QPS in versatility matrix
- Report of abnormalities of documents used within the line
Profile requirements
Education: Finished bachelor's degree
Work Experience: 1 year or less
Languages: Spanish, English
Skills: Conflict management, communication, leadership, proactivity
Knowledge: Microsoft Office, Use of statistical tools
