We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our Quality team, supporting our production line operations. This position is fundamental to ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards, from process control to customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for driving quality performance on the production line, leading problem-solving activities, and partnering closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Maintenance teams. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with access to cutting-edge technology and professional development opportunities, including the leadership of quality technicians.
Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and procedures within the production line and quality area.
Monitor and drive key quality KPIs such as First Time Through (FTT), Rolled Throughput Yield (RTY), and scrap reduction.
Lead containment and problem-resolution activities for quality concerns, applying core tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa diagrams.
Confirm Control Plans, FMEA, and other quality documentation in line with IATF 16949 requirements.
Manage and respond to customer complaints and quality concerns, ensuring timely root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support new model launches and process changes, partnering with Manufacturing Engineering and Process Coaches to ensure quality requirements are met from the start.
Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) to optimize quality performance and reduce cost of poor quality.
Confirm calibration of quality-related gauges and equipment, ensuring measurement systems remain reliable (MSA).
Manage quarantine and non-conforming material processes, ensuring proper disposition and traceability.
Train and develop production and quality technicians on quality standards, inspection methods, and standardized work.
Promote an inclusive and collaborative work environment within the quality team.
Education
Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Advanced English.
Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or high-technology component production, in Quality or Production roles.
Solid experience with automotive core tools (FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA) and problem-solving methodologies (G8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and visual management systems.
Knowledge of quality management systems (IATF 16949).
Technical exposure to precision machining (aluminum, gears) and/or electric motor assembly processes (stator/rotor) is a plus.
