Ford Bank is searching for a Group Product Manager, who will lead the Data & Document Services Team in Germany and the UK. This team of Senior Product Managers and Product Analysts build, implement and enhance our digital services and experiences for our diverse internal users, dealers and end-customers across Europe. You will be responsible for owning these portfolios, delivering these products to market, measuring their success and then pushing for their continual improvement. This is a rare opportunity to apply your unique Product, Design and Tech skillsets to support the wider business in our transformation.
Engage with senior stakeholders: Build and sustain strong relationships to ensure strategic alignment and to prioritise portfolio goals.
Partner with multiple cross functional teams on digital data driven solutions across Europe including vehicle and residual value data services, the document management suite and eContracting / eID / eSign capabilities.
Utilise technical expertise: Apply your technical skills to guide the development of new features while managing existing products to ensure robustness and efficiency.
Own and shape the roadmap: Set and communicate portfolio-level product roadmaps; make strategic prioritisation decisions that maximise impact and align with business objectives; foster trust with team members and stakeholders.
Stay ahead of the curve: Monitor and analyse competitor offerings and industry trends, identifying opportunities to enhance user, dealer and customer capabilities.
Drive operational efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline the dealer and customer experience, while considering impacts on operational teams.
Foster cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to ensure the overarching product vision is achieved.
Drive innovation and problem solving: Turn business and customer challenges into opportunities for innovation and measurable improvement.
Ensure high-quality delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful launches that ensure an exceptional internal and external customer experience.
Measure performance effectively: Define and track key metrics; use quantitative and qualitative insights to ensure we’re solving real customer problems and delivering value.
- Strong experience in a product role: Advanced-level product management skills, demonstrated by delivering multiple products into production with significant adoption.
- Exceptional communication: Comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders, engineers, and product leadership; able to tailor your message to the audience. Your stakeholders need to know your plans, and your teams need to understand the detail.
- Stakeholder management: Able to manage a complex stakeholder environment, developing processes and ceremonies to keep stakeholders aligned and elicit input.
- Customer centricity: You empathise deeply with customers and users and truly understand their challenges.
- Data-guided: You use data to guide decision-making and priorities. Where data is missing, you work to establish it, and you make key metrics visible through clear reporting.
- Product strategy: You connect the organisation’s long-term aspirations with a coherent long-term strategy for your portfolios and products.
- Self-starter: You thrive amid ambiguity and complexity, bringing clarity and momentum; you become the go-to expert for your product area.
People leadership and influence: You lead your team effectively and influence stakeholders across functions and multiple geographies.
Experience owning a product in multiple markets: You have built products to serve multiple markets and have prioritised developments across markets.
Proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken)
