In this position...
You will have oversight of maintenance operations and the direct supervision of skilled trades assigned to support production and facilities.
What you'll do...
Ensure adherence to FAS08, OSHA and all applicable safety standard for skilled trades work teams
Oversee production controls systems and associated systems
Conduct root cause analysis of downtime issues to prevent recurrence (4D process)
Support / direct skilled trades/maintenance personnel to evaluate requirements for maintaining and improving production yields, throughput, and up time
Use Maximo for Maintenance (MFM) to document all maintenance activities (crisis and planned) as well as interface and provide input to maintenance planning activities.
Execute prioritized daily maintenance tasks (predictive, preventive and crisis maintenance)
Analyze equipment performance and work to improve efficiencies; actively participate in Constraint Review Process
Ensure equipment start-up readiness for production
Lead oversight of controls and automation to include:
Indirect supervision of electrical trades and electrical technicians supporting production and facilities operations.
Robot, Automation and controls changes associated with process tooling and equipment. Includes programming and logic changes.
Evaluate contractor performance and safety behavior and operations as related to controls and automation
Liaise and supervise maintenance related vendors (parts supply & services) and ensures appropriate execution and that objectives are met.
Support and as needed supervise preventive maintenance schedules, preventive and predictive inspections, and repairs to minimize down time
Conduct root cause analysis of downtime issues to prevent recurrence (4D process)
Work with ME/PE to launch new programs or equipment, optimize Automation and Controls systems for process tooling
Execute prioritized daily maintenance activities (predictive, preventive and crisis maintenance) obtaining full utilization of work force while optimizing available opportunities for all maintenance
Provide input to MPS for weekend and shutdown maintenance planning
Use Maximo for Maintenance (MFM) to document all maintenance activities (crisis and planned).
Work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends
You'll have...
· 2 year technical degree in electrical, mechanical, or robotics
· Minimum of 4 years on the job experience leading skilled trades or installing/troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
Even better, you may have...
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Controls or Robotics Engineering
· Technical certification in Robot / Automation and Controls
· Three or more years of automotive experience
· One or more years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
· Validated experience managing a unionized work force
· Demonstrated skill with automotive controls and robotics

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440.
This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360.
This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
