The Associate, Employee Relations working under close supervision, is responsible for supporting the administration of resolutions to employee relations issues, such as investigations into conflicts, disputes, and disciplinary matters, with fairness and consistency in a timely manner. The role supports the administration of company policies and procedures related to employee relations, performance management, and workplace conduct. The role also supports the maintenance of accurate and confidential employee records and data related to employee relations matters.

What you'll do...

  • Supports managers in preparing the administrative documents for the resolution of employee union, and work council relations issues, such as conflicts, disputes, wage violations, and disciplinary matters, with fairness and consistency in a timely manner in compliance with established company policies and processes.
  • Assists specialists with the preparation of documentation and management responses for cases, investigations, departures, mediations between employees, hearings, and related issues as per established practices, procedures, and processes.
  • Supports managers in monitoring case quality to ensure an efficient and effective experience by recording data as per specified formats and assisting with the preparation of internal MIS reports as per defined templates for employee relations teams.
  • Supports the documentation and administrative tasks involved in the daily implementation of performance management systems, including performance evaluations, goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and performance improvement plans.
  • Supports specialists and managers in formulating effective responses for all types of discrimination charges and complaints as per established policies and procedures, identifies roadblocks if any, and effectively brings them to the managers’ attention.
  • Supports specialists and managers for the preparation of HR-specific communications related to employee contracts, including employment terms and conditions, code of conduct, workforce retrenchment, etc., as per established policies, procedures, and processes leading to the organizational objective of high employee motivation, morale, and a positive work environment.
  • Supports specialists and managers with the consistent administration of company policies and procedures related to employee relations, workplace conduct, and employee communication as per established norms, to enhance employee satisfaction and reduce turnover.
  • Supports specialists and managers with the maintenance of a compliance library for the employee relations team, keeping track of all relevant developments by date along with accurate and confidential employee records and data related to employee relations matters, including changes in employment status and disciplinary history. 
  • Supports preparation of internal team reports and analytics to monitor employee relations trends as per established reporting formats and templates.
  • Assists managers and specialists to ensure materials are properly prepared to process personnel changes, including, but not limited to, salary changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations, and maintains a record of the associated timelines.


    Candidates must possess full flexibility and a readiness to consistently work across all established standard, operating, and rotational shift schedules, encompassing day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline
  • Minimum 0+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.

Even better, you may have...

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related discipline
  • 1+ years of experience administering timekeeping systems and ensuring payroll accuracy for hourly employees.
  • Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) 
  • Certified Labor Relations Professional (CLRP)

This position is a salary grade 5 and ranges from $63,480-106,680.      
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
