Ford U.S. Payroll is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused payroll analyst to work at the Payroll Service Center based in Ford Mexico. Clear communication, strong focus on employee experience, and maintaining the privacy of sensitive financial and personal information are critical requirements.
Working within the Service Center environment, the analyst will handle high-volume data processing, collaborate with work partners in the resolution of complex pay discrepancies, and/or serve as a primary contact for employee payroll-related inquiries.
- Customer service: responding to payroll inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and assisting employees with payroll-related issues regarding paychecks, benefits, and deductions in a timely and effective manner.
- Data analysis: deep dive and provide analysis when needed for effective resolution of inquiries
- Collaboration: work with other functional skill teams to investigate and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely and effective manner (e.g., pay, pay slip, time-absence, W2s, direct deposits, others).
- Metrics reports: prepare and deliver daily, weekly, monthly operational metric reports to measure performance and quality of data or services.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- Communication: clear communication to explain payroll transactions or processes to employees and collaborate with HR/other functional skill teams
- English language: excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written)
- Customer oriented: experience in handling employee payroll-related matters using CRM tools (Customer Relations Management)
- Analytical: good analytical skills with strong attention to details
- Time management: ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
- Confidentiality: ability to handle sensitive financial and personal employee information
- Software proficiency: experience with Microsoft tools and other HRIS or payroll software
- Finance/accounting: knowledge of basic accounting principles and understanding of financial data
