The Professional Practices Manager is a people leader responsible for enabling best-in-class audit methodology and related toolkit for the global audit team and enabling a continuous improvement culture for the PP and internal audit teams. They will manage a specialized team of analysts to ensure that the Global Internal Audit department adheres to the IIA standards while driving digital transformation. This role balances methodology ownership, risk assessment, quality assurance, and coordinating with AI and advanced analytics teams to enhance audit efficiency.

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive the design and implementation of a best-in-class audit methodology. Ensure all audit processes, from risk assessment to reporting, are compliant with the latest IIA standards
  • Maintain and evolve the Internal Audit Manual and all related procedural templates. Ensure that the GRC system (Archer) effectively reflects and enforces the established methodology.
  • Partner with regional audit leaders to ensure methodology is practical and consistently applied across diverse global markets
  • Oversee the department’s QAIP to ensure consistent application of methodology. Identify trends from quality reviews and translate them into actionable training or process improvements.
  • Enable the bridge between the Internal Audit and IA Analytics teams and coordinate the integration of automated testing, predictive analytics, and AI tools into the standard audit workflow to drive measurable efficiency gains.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in Internal Audit or Audit Operations, with a strong emphasis on methodology and professional standards. At least 5 years of experience managing technical or audit professionals preferred 

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Professional certification (CIA, CISA, or CPA) is preferred

Work Requirements:

  • Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish). You must be capable of drafting complex methodology documents and presenting strategic updates to global executive leadership in English.
