The Role:
The Manufacturing Engineering Intern role is an outstanding opportunity for results-orientated individuals who want to be a part of a professional team supporting the production of world-class vehicles in a lean, flexible manufacturing environment. As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, your role is to support the engineering team in optimizing production processes, ensuring quality, and implementing new technologies. This experience will provide direct exposure and experience in a high paced, challenging environment for students interested in manufacturing engineering. Please be advised that the available opportunities present for Interns will be based out of the Oakville Assembly on the plant floor.
What you'll do....
The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Project Management: Define, develop, and execute project roadmaps as directed by departmental leadership.
- Process Standardization: Establish and document robust procedures to ensure consistency across all project phases.
- Communication: Act as a primary liaison between the project team and management, delivering regular status updates and performance reports.
- Technical Support: Provide cross-departmental support in both Engineering and Maintenance.
- Analytical Insight: Leverage data evaluation techniques to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Safety & Ethics: Maintain a safe, healthy, and ethical work environment in strict accordance with safety regulations.
- Workplace Excellence: Sustain a highly organized and efficient work environment through rigorous application of 5S principles.
You'll have ...
- College Diploma, Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Engineering in progress or graduated in 2026
- Candidates must be available May to August 2026
High proficiency in MS Office 365, with "Power User" status in Excel (data cleaning, formulas, and reporting).

- Safety conscious, open to engage team members and peers in safety processes
- Interest in the automotive and/or manufacturing industry and working on the assembly floor
- Excellent demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to act with discretion and confidentiality
- High proficiency in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Experience with CAD
