At Ford, you’ll work on ideas that matter, alongside passionate people who want to make a global impact. Together, we’re shaping the next era of transportation—grounded in purpose, driven by progress. Make your move.

  • Job Type: Full time
  • Work Type: On-site

We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.

Finance strategically partners with operations to drive outstanding business results and enhance Ford’s industry leadership. When you join us, you’ll be able to contribute financial expertise that impacts all areas of our company, including planning, manufacturing, marketing and global distribution.

In this position...

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented, high-energy Plant Financial Analyst to join our team at a pivotal moment as we modernize finance operations through automation, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Working closely with the Plant Controller, this role delivers real-time financial insight to the operating management committee across daily, weekly, and monthly cycles.
  • You'll partner cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams — not just to report on cost and performance, but to help reimagine how finance adds value on the plant floor through smarter tools, streamlined processes, and predictive insights.

What you'll do...

  • Develop and analyze a daily manufacturing cost package, with an eye toward automating and streamlining legacy Excel-based processes
  • Support month-end close by preparing journal entries, identifying opportunities to simplify and accelerate close cycles
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards and operating metrics that give the management team real-time visibility to drive operating efficiency
  • Lead monthly forecasting and annual budget development, leveraging data analytics to improve forecast accuracy and agility
  • Partner with cross-functional departments to evaluate, analyze, and financially model strategic projects
  • Participate in audits and internal control assessments, ensuring strong governance amid evolving processes
  • Champion finance transformation by identifying, piloting, and implementing emerging technologies (automation, self-service analytics, AI/ML tools) to modernize plant operations and elevate the efficiency and strategic value of the Controller's office

You'll have...

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Math, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in Finance/Accounting within a manufacturing environment
  • Communication: Demonstrated ability to confidently communicate and influence across all levels of the organization and across cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, HR, etc.)
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong analytical capability, high attention to detail, and a track record of translating data into actionable business decisions
  • Mindset: A self-starter, change agent, and adaptive learner who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environment and is energized by process innovation
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Even better you'll have...

  • Experience with modern finance technology stacks such as Alteryx, Power BI, PowerApps, Python, or Google Cloud Platform — with an appetite to expand automation and analytics capabilities across the team
  • MBA
