The position drives innovation through process improvements, leveraging project management and AI tools to optimize operations across markets. The professional leads projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and controls, collaborating closely with a dedicated PRE team. Beyond core financial duties this role seeks a proactive and strategic thinker with project manager attitude.
Detailed task functions and responsibilities:
• Financial Expense Management: Manage dealer charge calculations.
• Project leadership: Act as point of contact and coordinator within FCSD-UK for all Ford Essential Pricing management, review, analysis, development and completion via Cost Office Guides. Monitor and analyse recommended retail prices on Ford older vehicle servicing and repairs (Ford Essential), allowing for sufficient profit margin for the dealers.
• Process Re-engineering support: Initiate, lead and execute projects focused on process improvement, leveraging project management methodologies and AI tools to optimize financial operations. Collaborate actively with the dedicated PRE team.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Market Exposure: Work within a dynamic Marketing & Sales environment, collaborating with FCSD-E Revenue/Finance Teams and Business Unit Leads. Maintain a strong working relationship with NSC Service Field Team, key agencies and suppliers. Proactively address complex customer needs and advocate for customer-centric improvements, particularly across EU20 markets. Manage and process all Battery Recycling data via Government Scheme sponsor.
• FORD Dealer Network Support: Communicate campaigns to the Ford Service Field Team and Ford Dealer Network to promote maximum engagement and participation in Service Marketing communications programmes. Lead and execute parts pricing claim handling process.
• Controlling & Internal Support: Develop and implement controlling methods and schedules. Provide essential support to internal control coordinators ensuring strong financial governance. Purchase Order (PO) processes (creation, approval follow-up).
• Education: University / College degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive working experience in expense analysis, financial analysis or controlling role, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Language: Excellent written and spoken English is essential. Proficiency in other EU languages is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge in Microsoft 365 is a must - preferred experience with Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies, demonstrated ability to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools or concepts for process re-engineering and data analysis, familiarity with financial analysis tools and reporting systems is an advantage.
