This is not a governance-only role; it is a highly collaborative, hands-on partnership. You will lead demand management and ROI tracking, enabling measurable improvements in resource utilization and data-driven decision-making across the portfolio. You will be responsible for improving cross-functional decision-making, enhancing our quarterly strategic planning processes, and boosting the visibility and alignment of IT investments with business priorities through modern, data-driven tools.
What you'll do...
- Demand Management & ROI Tracking: Drive robust demand management processes and ROI tracking, enabling measurable improvements in resource utilization, capacity allocation, and strategic decision-making.
- Quarterly Strategic Planning: Execute & enhance the quarterly strategic planning processes, boosting visibility and alignment of IT investments with business priorities through data-driven tools.
- Team Leadership & Growth: Lead teams driving agile methodology growth, cross-functional alignment, and the resolution of complex, systemic issues across the portfolio.
- Cross-Functional Decision-Making: Improve cross-functional decision-making by creating and implementing consistent risk management and prioritization frameworks.
- Portfolio Value & Velocity Tracking: Partner closely with several product teams to measure, analyze, and optimize value delivery, report out, road mapping, velocity, and KPI tracking.
- Intake Governance & PI Commitments: Establish or leverage structured intake processes and change control to ensure teams manage demand effectively and reliably deliver on their Program Increment (PI) commitments.
- Platform & Toolchain Optimization: Leverage enterprise Agile platforms (Jira/Confluence/Planview, etc) to manage backlogs, configure sprints, track metrics, and establish portfolio-level visibility.
- Executive Communication & Reporting: Translate delivery metrics, portfolio health, ROI, and risks into clear, data-driven narratives for product leadership and stakeholders.
- AI Fluency & Innovation: Demonstrate strong AI fluency by leveraging advanced AI tools and frameworks to generate actionable business insights, build dynamic dashboards, and design custom AI agents. Utilize agentic framing to enable predictive "what-if" scenario modeling and automate complex workflows.
You'll have...
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7+ years of progressive project, program, or portfolio management experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading enterprise Agile initiatives, managing multi-team portfolios, and aligning cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in demand management, ROI tracking, and optimizing resource utilization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams driving professional growth, cross-functional alignment, and the resolution of complex issues.
- Hands-on mastery of Azure DevOps (ADO) or equivalent enterprise Agile platforms for tracking velocity, capacity, and sprint metrics.
- Strong analytical literacy with the ability to turn raw delivery data into actionable portfolio-maturity plans.
Even better, you may have...
- Experience enhancing quarterly strategic planning processes and utilizing data-driven tools to align IT investments with business priorities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or SAFe Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) certification.
- Experience in Fintech, lending, financial services, or highly regulated environments.
- Experience guiding distributed teams across multiple time zones (e.g., US, India, South America).
- A strategic thinker who thrives in high-pressure environments and is comfortable navigating organizational complexity to drive transformation.
