We are looking for a talented team member to provide executive support to Ford’s Government Affairs leadership team based in Washington, D.C. In this highly dynamic era, Ford’s advocacy efforts are critical in ensuring that our perspective and long-term vision for the automotive industry is understood by policymakers and elected officials in all the countries in which we operate.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our Chief Government Affairs Officer and our Vice President of International Government Affairs. A successful candidate will be self-directed, resilient, and collaborative, with a high bar for excellence and professionalism.
What you’ll do...
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding corporate and personal information.
- Partner with executives to manage calendars and ensure efficient and effective time management; ensure the executives’ preparedness for meetings and engagements.
- Serve as the executives’ liaison to internal and external stakeholders, including senior government officials.
- Coordinate key internal events such as staff meetings, all-hands meetings, off-sites, team gatherings, etc., overseeing all calendaring, communication, technology, logistics and related follow-up activities.
- Maintain and organize Outlook inbox and other records as appropriate, keeping the executive well-organized and aligned to Company records and retention schedules.
Sort, screen, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail for the executive, highlighting information of interest and/or curate reading material. - Track deadlines and status of assigned individual action items for the executives.
- Optimize travel arrangements and itineraries based on the executives’ travel needs and preferences. Complete related expense reports.
- Coordinate interactions between executives and employees when appropriate.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
You'll have...
- Associate’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience as an executive assistant supporting senior leader(s)
- Ability to operate autonomously without daily direction
- Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- High degree of professionalism to maintain confidential information and host VIPs within the D.C. office

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
