As a Design Digital Modeler, you will be responsible for developing high-fidelity digital models (both interior and exterior) that accurately capture and display design intent. You'll play a key part in the digital modeling process, assisting with builds, determining the best tools and techniques for accurate execution within project timelines and constraints, and applying your deep understanding of surface development. This position requires strong collaboration skills, as you will translate technical data, interface with multiple departments and personnel, and build relationships across all levels of the design team to achieve our shared goals.

Ford is looking for a highly creative/strategic Senior Interior Designer for our new state-of-the-art design studio in Dearborn. You’ll be working in the Adventure Studio on Advanced & Production Interior projects. The successful candidate will have to develop both conceptual and production based Interior solutions in the form of sketch, rendering and 3D digital models.

Join our Color & Material team to lead design for current and future customers of the Ford brands product line up, including Battery Electric Vehicle, Commercial vehicles, Trucks, Compact trucks, Icons, Passenger vehicle/utilities, Luxury, and Emerging Markets.

The Color & Material Vehicle Design Manager is responsible in leading a team of designers that create, curate, and deliver Color, Material and Finish (CMF) solutions that influence and enhance the current automotive landscape. This role is responsible in managing all CMF applications on the exterior and interior of the vehicles that bring a distinct look and experience to the automobile.

As a Design Manager - Digital Sculpting you will lead a team of digital modelers to model concepts into reality in the form of functional high-fidelity digital models.   Using your expertise in automotive design and/or engineering you will have the opportunity to see the future of Ford firsthand and play a pivotal role in the early-stage development of the next generation of Ford vehicle content and experiences. Along with your creativity, this role requires a deep understanding of automotive systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming conceptual ideas into functional electronic and mechatronic prototypes that shape the future of Ford vehicles.

You will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of embedded software and hardware systems across a wide range of prototype applications—from tactile components like buttons, switches, and knobs to fully functional electric drivetrains. This role offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the early-stage development of next-generation of Ford vehicle content and experiences.
