Meet the Team
What’s it like to make a career here? We asked Gargi, Ford Credit software engineering director, whose visit to Michigan's Greenfield Village museum set her career trajectory. “I was awed by everything Henry Ford had achieved and resolved to work at Ford Motor Company someday,” said Shah, a graduate student at the time.
"I have an absolutely phenomenal team, very talented, collaborative and customer-focused," she said. “At Ford, I've been privileged to work with exceptional teams. Our collective efforts have led to remarkable achievements that would have been impossible for any individual. Talent and collaboration have been constants in my career, with each team I've led bringing unique strengths to create outstanding results.”
Gargi's belief in continuous learning and innovation is a perfect fit with Ford Credit's culture.
With a degree in biology and chemistry, Bridgit didn’t have the typical background for a career in finance. But with a drive to learn, passion for the business and ability to connect with people, Bridgit has thrived at Ford Credit.
“Until I started as a business development manager, I had absolutely no sales experience,” Bridgit said. Now, she says business development manager is the best job in the world for her because she enjoys meeting people, learning about Ford dealers’ operations and helping them prosper.
“My favorite part of the job is the relationships I make with dealers. It is nice to meet new dealers to see how I can gain their trust and help them grow their businesses,” she said. She recently hosted a luncheon celebrating a dealership’s 40-year relationship with Ford Credit.
“I knew the grandfather, the father and the grandson, who is now a general sales manager. We had five generations there. Seeing that family line and knowing I helped them grow the business was just amazing.”
“When I see something interesting, I enjoy digging into the details, learning all I can and exploring ways to leverage what I learn,” he said. He joined Ford Credit in 1996 after working in sales with family-owned auto dealerships.
“I saw the benefits of being in a larger company with more professional management,” he said. “At Ford Credit, you can leverage your strengths. There is something for everyone. If you want to dive deep, you can do that. If you want to skim the surface and be constantly learning something new, you can do that.”
“Cooking and gardening contests have sharpened the planning, project management and attention-to-detail skills I use at work. Fishing has helped me improve my ability to concentrate for long periods and taught me stress relief strategies and how to deal with disappointment.”
He also aims to grow a 400-pound pumpkin. He grew a 200-pounder last year and, with more knowledge, new seeds and better prepared soil, aims for a competition-ready pumpkin this year.
Meet Adriana Valenzuela. Her father used to tell her, “si se puede” (you can do it) and she proved him right when she became president of Ford Credit Mexico in 2024.
Her international Ford Credit career began 25 years ago in Mexico City. She didn’t know the employer until she arrived for the interview, and was excited to see the Ford Motor Company blue oval on the building ‒ and to land the marketing analyst job.
“I love Ford Credit because of our values. We work in a family space and we are such a big family,” she said. “I encourage people always to be innovative. Look for ways to make processes easier or better. Speak up with any idea you have.”
