Ford College Graduates (FCG)

Duration: 24-36 months; varies by skill team

As part of the Ford College Graduate (FCG) Program, you’ll experience a variety of assignments during your first years at Ford Motor Company. As an FCG, you’ll develop necessary skills, experience Ford’s culture and build your social and professional network. From Information Technology to Product Development to HR to Finance and more, you’ll find opportunities in a wide range of our technical and business skill teams. 

Finance Leadership Program (FLP)

Duration: Three-year post-MBA rotational program with rotations of approximately 18 months

Aiming to be a leader in finance? The Finance Leadership Program (FLP) is designed to help you build your foundation in Ford Finance while leveraging your prior experiences to drive the business forward. You’ll experience two progressively challenging and high-visibility roles in core finance functions. Successful FLP graduates are considered for promotion into a finance management role.

Treasury Leadership Program (TLP)

Duration: Three 12-month rotations

Treasury is a key strategic partner within Ford, integral to all segments of the automotive business and our finance company, Ford Credit. Treasury interfaces with the financial markets and supports Ford’s liquidity and balance sheet. In the Treasury Leadership Program (TLP), you’ll develop technical and leadership skills through progressively challenging and high-visibility assignments in core Treasury functions. The TLP will accelerate development and provide opportunities to lead. You’ll build a broad base of Treasury knowledge through exposure to global capital markets, asset management, operations, financial strategy, international finance, risk management, investor relations and FP&A. 

Marketing Leadership Program (MLP)

Duration: Three individualized 18-24 month rotations

Looking for the opportunity to become a marketing leader and influence the company? The Marketing Leadership Program (MLP) provides you with challenging rotational assignments where you can contribute to marketing strategy and support Ford’s purpose of building a better world. Ford Business Leader Program (FBLP)

Duration: Three 12-18 month rotations

Created in 2016, the Ford Business Leadership Program (FBLP) is a cross-functional general management program that will provide you with the accelerated professional development you need to position yourself as one of Ford Motor Company’s future executive leaders. The FBLP provides the opportunity to create a platform for change and inspire, educate and guide others. This competitive program is open to candidates from top MBA programs who demonstrate an ability to excel at a global level in business. 

Strategy & Planning Leadership Program (SPLP)

Duration: 36 months with three core rotations and one elective rotation

The Strategy & Planning Leadership Program (SPLP) is structured to develop your strategic acumen and cross-functional expertise. You’ll complete four nine-month rotations that will foster a comprehensive understanding of strategy and planning functions. This series of rotations will help you cultivate critical strategic thinking and adaptability, teach you to manage diverse organizational challenges and prepare you for your first off-program assignment in a strategy and planning role. The SPLP emphasizes experiential learning and empowers you to engage with various business units and apply insights across functions. You’ll build a versatile skill set tailored for strategic leadership.
