About EVDD:

Ford’s Electric Vehicle, Digital and Design (EVDD) team is charged with defining the technology vision within Ford and driving the future of digital technologies and design. EVDD is customer obsessed, entrepreneurial, and data-driven. You’ll join an agile team of doers pioneering our future by working collaboratively, staying focused on what matters, and delivering excellence day in and day out. 

About the role:

The Executive Assistant role within the Connected Vehicle Software organization will be working in a fast-paced working environment that requires flexibility, resilience, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy. This role is often involved in handling confidential business-related data, so candidates should have strong personal integrity and a sense of how, and with whom, to share information. This role requires significant collaboration with other teams, including HR Business Partners, departmental Operations Leads and Chiefs of Staff, and global counterparts. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for an Executive Director and their team within the Connected Vehicle Software organization.

What you'll do…

  • Partner closely with the executive to streamline their day, ensuring efficient and effective time management while keep big-picture goals moving forward.
  • Own the calendar, inbox, and travel details, anticipating needs before they arise and clearing roadblocks before they happen.
  • Ensure the executive’s preparedness for meetings and engagements by securing required materials, inviting key attendees, and ensuring sufficient preparation time. 
  • Assist with events such as staff meetings, all-hands meetings, off-sites, team gatherings, etc., overseeing all calendaring, communication, technology, logistics and related follow-up activities.
  • Optimize  travel arrangements based on the executive’s travel needs and preferences. 
  • Manage expenses, ensuring timely processing and alignment with key policies.
  • Keep the team connected and aligned, from organizing key meetings to ensuring follow-ups don’t fall through the cracks.
  • Jump into special projects with curiosity and confidence—bringing clarity, coordination, and a can-do attitude to whatever comes your way.
  • Use everyday tools like Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel to stay organized, communicate clearly, and keep things running smoothly
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding corporate and personal information. 

You'll have...

  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as an executive assistant or project manager.
  • 3+ years of Microsoft software experience (e.g., Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other related programs).
  • Prior experience as an Executive Assistant.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail, to include anticipating needs and being proactive
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Displays high degree of professionalism in order to maintain confidential information, deal with people tactfully, and help establish strong relationships and positive communication
  • Ability to work collegially within a team environment in an open concept office area

  • Bachelor's degree or professional associate’s degree.
  • Responsive, self-starter; takes initiative in resolving issues or concerns.
  • Works well independently with minimal supervision.
  • Learns new software systems and products/cloud tools with ease.
  • Ability to work collegially and collaboratively within a team environment in an open-concept office area.
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, from executive leadership to individual contributors.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and support multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines with changing priorities.
  • Proactively assesses risk and resolves issues prior to them becoming problems for the larger teams.
  • Committed to providing seamless support across time zones.

This position is a salary grade 4 and ranges from $56,400-$94,900.
