Ford Pro Product Specialist, EDM

Ford Central and Eastern European LLC is looking for a

Ford Pro Product Specialist, EDM

to join our Marketing & Sales team in our Szentendre office.

What will be your roles and responsibilities in the team? 

• Lead local implementation and development of product/pricing strategies on commercial vehicles 

• Build up and spread the new knowledge about commercial vehicles and electric commercial vehicles in the whole local team and importers

• Take the lead of the new vehicle product launches and inform/involve the team from other areas

• Continuous cooperation with the central Brand Managers to support global strategies in local implementation and to ensure proper representation of local organization 

• Gather information on central product changes, pricing actions 

• Provide all product related inputs to the central teams regarding commercial vehicles

• Monitor competitive activities in the markets, report price positions continuously

• Ensure system readiness on all levels in due time (Order Guides, entity setup, Vista setup etc) – full ownership required for the relevant vehicle lines

• Assess local market possibilities in continuous cooperation with EDM sales teams

• Inform (and involve – if necessary) EDM Product Lead, EDM management and sales/finance departments about suggested strategies

• Support and arrange all necessary approvals for product/pricing proposals

• Suggest corrective actions on central strategies if local market needs require to do so
• Give all necessary information to zone managers/importers to support wholesale and dealer activities – about product specifications, pricing actions, market position

Are we looking for you? Yes, if… 

• You have a college or university degree, preferably in marketing or finance

• You have knowledge of the automotive industry and its segments

• You have experience in the field of product marketing

• You have experience or knowledge of the passenger vehicle market (considered an advantage)

• You have gained work experience at a multinational company (considered an advantage)

• You are a quick learner and eager to deepen your knowledge of the electric vehicle market and its rapidly changing environment

• You have strong analytical and numerical skills

• You have good problem-solving skills

• You can work independently and perform well under time pressure

• You are able to set priorities and work with a deadline-driven approach

• You have advanced Excel skills

• You are fluent in written and spoken English and Hungarian

• You have a positive, enthusiastic attitude and are passionate about the automotive industry

• You hold a valid driving license
