Job Title: Manufacturing Strategy & Advanced Planning (MSAP) Engineer
Location: São Paulo, Brazil or Pacheco,Argentina

Position Summary
As a Manufacturing Strategy & Advanced Planning (MSAP) Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our manufacturing footprint. You will be responsible for the governance of operational KPIs and will act as the lead consolidator for manufacturing impacts related to investments and new product launches. This role requires a blend of technical engineering knowledge, financial acumen, and strategic foresight to manage long-term capacity planning and sourcing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Governance & Performance Management: Lead the governance of manufacturing and operations by tracking and managing key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure operational targets are aligned with global corporate objectives.
- New Product Launch & Investment: Serve as the primary lead and consolidator for manufacturing impacts regarding investment and launch execution. Orchestrate the implementation of new products, ensuring all manufacturing requirements are met on time and within budget.
- Sourcing & Strategic Studies: Lead comprehensive insource vs. outsource (Make vs. Buy) studies. Manage special business study requirements, including new model costing, sourcing decisions, and footprint optimization.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage and track manufacturing expenditures aligned with specific projects. Ensure that all strategic decisions are backed by robust financial analysis and budget alignment.
- Long-Term Capacity Planning: Perform detailed analysis of installed capacity versus market demand. Develop and maintain a strategic 10-year manufacturing plan to ensure the facility is equipped to meet future volume requirements.
- Global Collaboration: Partner with Global teams to drive process improvements and standardization. Take ownership of cross-regional study assignments and provide strategic oversight for one-off studies related to the Global manufacturing footprint.
- Strategic Oversight: Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership regarding manufacturing capabilities, risks, and opportunities for expansion or optimization.
Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related field).
- Experience: Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or Strategic Planning.
- Financial Literacy: Strong ability to manage project budgets, understand costing models, and perform ROI analysis for manufacturing investments.
- Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to project long-term industrial trends (Capacity vs. Demand).
- Communication: Advanced/Fluent English is mandatory for frequent interaction with global teams.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex modeling) and PowerPoint (executive presentations).
Preferred:
- MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma.
- Prior experience in the automotive industry or large-scale industrial manufacturing.
- Familiarity with global manufacturing footprint strategies.
