Lead and Manage the Tier N Supply Chain detection and risk mitigation before they manifest into a supply disruption. Collaborate cross functionally (Purchasing & MP&L) and operate as ONE Center of Excellence (COE) team. Leverage digital tools within Ford to progress Ford's ability to mitigate Tier N supply issues.
- Lead and guide team to uncover network relationships via various value stream activities for identified targeted commodities and suppliers.
- Strategize and align on expanding value stream to other programs and commodities to increase network visibility.
- Implement VSM data compliance and completeness as part of launch (GPDS) deliverables for forward model programs.
- Support team to execute the "Risk Mitigation Framework" of scanning, profiling & developing supply protection plans to mitigate uncertainty.
- Monitor and evaluate teams ability to triage daily event signals with category, commodity and network data to arrive at insights and use them to scan categories and commodities for emerging risks
- Monitor profiled risks, analysis and findings for targeted risk alerts, disposition for further action and lead for closure.
- Leverage supply chain/ purchasing knowledge and expertise to pro-actively screen suppliers and commodities with macro and micro economic perspectives.
- Track team adherence to escalation protocol for supplier non compliance. Measure and monitor teams performance via metrics.
- Represent in leadership forums for executive report out and required support.
- Engage closely with IT team to ensure accurate data is ingested to repository in timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT on supply chain digitization program for N Tier digital tools.
- Factor optimal utilization of resources and fair workload distribution for operational excellence.
- Focus on versatality improvement and development of team members.
- Demonstrate agility and drive innovative mindset as the way of team's working. Develop a motivated workforce.
B.E/ B. Tech
10+ years in MP&L / Purchasing
Experience in BOM / Constraints Management/ Exposure to ERP Systems / Supply Chain Management
- Focused approach and collaboration skill to lead diverse work group
- Good communication skills to interact with global cross functional team
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills and leadership potential
Flexibility to work in night shifts
