The Ford Credit Technology & Software organization creates digital software products for dealers and customers to support Ford Credit's strategic goal to be the reason customers choose and stay with Ford.

Front End (UI/UX) Engineer for Ford Bill will contribute to the development of new digital products for Ford Credit Commercial customers. Ford Bill will be the one-stop shop for paying the bills from Ford Credit and Ford Pro for the financing and subscriptions respectively. 

  • Develop software and services in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including applications, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools.
  • Should have experience building AI agents to build the code and to use it across SDLC

  • Proficiency using AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate development, debugging, and code review

  • Ability to critically evaluate and refine AI generated code to ensure quality, security, and adherence to best practices

  • Build reusable code and libraries.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability,
  • Supports responsive web and mobile applications that work across different screen sizes.
  • Tests software development methodology in an agile environment.
  • Provides feedback on existing products and contributes to the design of new product features.
  • Provides ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
  • Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
  • Knowledge in front end software technologies
  • Experience working on cloud and digital platforms
  • Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies 
  • Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and Quality Assurance teams
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience
  • Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment
