- Apply efficient machining strategies such as high-feed and high-performance cutting to reduce cycle time and tool wear.
- Support specialised processes wherever applicable.
2. CAD & Surface Preparation
- Prepare and refine CAD surface geometry for manufacturability using Tebis.
- Incorporate material behaviour factors such as thickness variation and springback into toolpath calculations.
- Implement surface adjustments based on design data or tryout feedback.
3. Simulation & Verification
- Perform virtual machining simulations to validate toolpaths and avoid collisions.
- Ensure safe and reliable operation for automated or unattended machining.
4. Standardisation & Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain NC templates and standard machining strategies.
- Standardise tooling, machining parameters, and workflows to improve consistency.
5. Reverse Engineering & Tryout Support
- Work with 3D scan data to align modified dies with CAD models.
- Update digital models and support re-machining for design corrections.
6. Collaboration & Documentation
