In this position... 

The ISE Business Office Analyst supports a global engineering organization by managing business operations, purchased services, material spend and ED&T. The analyst will serve as a trusted business advisor to ISE leadership, ensuring alignment to corporate financial guidance, governance requirements, and program milestones.

This role requires the following activities

• Requisition materials, tooling, and services for all Interior Systems Engineering (ISE) commodities through all Milestones and Gateways
• Secure funding and establish Purchase Orders for ED&T requisitions
• Track and maintain ISE annual budget and deliverables per Business Office objectives
• Liaise with Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, ED&T Governance, Prototype Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure Product Development, Business and Finance objectives

The role requires strong business and operations acumen, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional processes.

What you'll do...

Material Spend

• Manage material spend to approved targets across ISE.
• Lead material order requests from ordering to delivery and storage
• Serve as SPOC for Interiors prototype scheduling and build processes.

Purchased Services (PS)

• Manage ISE Purchased Services spend to approved targets.
• Serve as first approver / scrutineer for Ariba PS requests.
• Process lead to ensure all PS requests meet corporate screening, classification, and approval requirements.
• Function as the Ariba tool Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for ISE users.
• Support PS budget returns, offsets, and director level approval requests.

ED&T (Engineering Design & Test)

• Assess lump sum ED&T requirements across unit and program work.
• Support ED&T budget deployment, scrubs, and leadership reviews.
• Partner with Chiefs and Finance on ED&T prioritization and governance.

Resource & Program Planning

• Lead global top hat vehicle program studies with PDRP and other stakeholders.
• Support Finance and Planning for program milestone submissions.
• Conduct comprehensive Cycle Plan analysis, including:
• Quality
• OPD
• PVT
• TVM
• Top hat programs

You'll have...

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience supporting or leading Engineering Business Office functions.
• 5+ years of experience with cross-functional stakeholder management.
• 4+ of prototype material, purchase service, ED&T, resource planning and sourcing processes.
• 3+ years of experience demonstrating the ability to manage complex, cross functional workflows.

• MBA or master’s degree 
• 8+ years of experience leading Engineering Business Office organizations.
• Demonstrated leadership capability across functional boundaries.
• Proven project management experience in complex environments.
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Working knowledge of using LLMs and Dashboards to improve work efficiency
• Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $86,600-$144,900.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
